Client Policy

Legalee BV hereby adopts the following client policy to ensure that the company and its affiliates do not engage in non-ethical practices.

UBO resident countries and corporate jurisdictions we do not accept

We do not work with clients where any shareholder, director or other UBO* is a resident** of one the following countries in the list below.

Neither do we work with clients making use of or planning on using a legal structure consisting of one or more entities in any of the countries in the list below:

* An UBO, or ultimate beneficiary owner, is the individual or organization who ultimately benefits from a company’s assets. This person may not be the company’s official owner, but rather someone who controls the company from behind the scenes. For example, an UBO might be the person who receives the majority of a company’s profits, even if they don’t own the company outright.

** Clients who are in the process of moving to a different country that is not mentioned in the list above, are welcome but should be able to show sufficient proof that they are in fact moving to this other jurisdiction.

Structures and entities we do not accept

We do not work with clients who are affiliated with any corporate structure based in any of the following countries:

We do not work with clients making use of or planning on using a legal structure involving legal entities or other methods to hide the identity of or more UBO’s. Examples are:

  • Trusts
  • Foundations that do not perform charitable/non-profit activities

Business activities we do not accept

We do not work with clients that are active or are planning to becoming active in one or more of the following industries:

  • Weapons and ammunition
  • Tobacco
  • Prostitution
  • Used cars
  • Used mobile phones
  • Palm oil
